Metallica from L to R - Ulrich, Hammet, Hetfield & Burton.
Metallica is an American heavy metal band that formed in 1981 in Los Angeles (CA), founded by drummer Lars Ulrich, Metallica current band members are – James Hetfield (vocalist) Kirk Hammet (lead guitarist), Lars Ulrich (drums) and bassist Robert Trujillo while going through a lot of bassists like – Cliff Burton and Jason Newsted while Cliff was replaced because of his death by bus accident, Jason left the band in 2001. Another position which was replaced was Dave Mustaine (1981) for Kirk Hammet (guitarist of EXODUS) due to some reason band members decided to quit Mustaine out of the band for his accused violent behaviour.
